About Mark

I’m Mark Allen — a passionate audio producer, sound designer, and musician based in Brighton, specialising in music production, vocal recording, ADR, Foley, and post-production for film and media.

My journey in music began as a guitarist, performing across UK venues, festivals, and TV appearances. Over time that passion evolved into a love for recording, shaping sound, and helping artists express themselves in the studio. Today, I work across music, film, and digital media, producing clean, creative, emotionally engaging audio for a wide range of clients.

I hold a First-Class BA and a Master’s in Music Production from BIMM Brighton/London and have worked on projects featured in international publications, documentaries, award-winning films, and even Eurovision. I’ve also gained valuable industry insight at Abbey Road Studios, shadowing tmastering engineer Oli Morgan (2023).

Whether I’m recording vocals, building a soundscape, mixing a track, or guiding a nervous first-time performer, my approach is always the same: calm, supportive, and focused on bringing out the best in the artist. I love combining technical precision with creativity, and I take pride in delivering high-quality work with a friendly, low-ego mindset.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me composing, experimenting with sound design, or exploring new ways to bring stories to life through audio.

If you’d like to collaborate, create something new, or discuss a project, I’d love to hear from you.
